Booking and visits
Slots, drop-off and what to expect
For a wash, walk-ins are welcome Tuesday through Saturday. For anything involving polish, coating or film, yes, because those jobs hold a bay for one to three days and we only run four bays.
Usually seven to ten days. Spring, which runs from the first pollen drop in February to about mid May, books out two to three weeks ahead.
For a wash or a headlight restoration, yes. There is a small waiting room with coffee and a view of the bays. Longer services are drop-off.
Shop work is indoors and runs regardless. Mobile visits are rescheduled to the next available slot at no charge if there is sustained rain.
Motorcycles yes, by appointment. Boats no, though we are happy to recommend two marine detailers who work the Charleston City Marina.

About the work
Methods, products and limits
Tunnel brushes and cloth strips carry grit from the car in front of you. That grit is what puts the fine circular scratches in your clear coat that show up under streetlights. Mitts and clean water do not do that.
Every polish removes a tiny amount of clear, which is why we take paint depth readings before we start and record them. Most factory clear has enough thickness for several corrections over a car's life.
No. If your nail catches it, the scratch is through the clear coat and needs paint. We will tell you that at intake rather than charging you for a polish that cannot fix it.
It is a large part of what we do. Single-stage lacquer, chrome, original interiors and delicate trim all get a conservative approach, and we will happily do a test area and stop there if you prefer.
pH-neutral soaps, professional coatings and films from installer-only lines, and no silicone dressings that sling onto paint. We will name the exact product on your invoice on request.

Protection tiers and aftercare
Film stops physical damage such as rock chips. A coating resists chemical damage and makes washing easier. Commuters who cross the Ravenel every day get film on the front and a coating everywhere else.
Every two to four weeks, by hand, with pH-neutral soap, and never through an automatic brush wash. We send an aftercare kit home with every coating.
The terms shown on this demo website are sample figures. Your written warranty is issued at handover and depends on the tier, the vehicle and the maintenance schedule you keep.
No. It adds hardness and chemical resistance, which helps with etching and staining. Anyone who tells you a coating is scratch-proof is selling you something.

Quotes, memberships and gift certificates
Surface area and panel count drive the time. A three-row SUV has nearly twice the painted area of a coupe and takes proportionally longer at every stage.
Prices on this website are sample figures for a vehicle in typical condition. We confirm the final number after we see the car, before any work starts.
Monthly, on a card on file, cancel with 30 days notice. Unused washes roll over for one month, and membership visits can be transferred to a second household vehicle.
Yes, in fixed amounts or for a named service. They do not expire, they are transferable, and they can be collected from the shop or emailed as a printable card.
